What do I need to do to take care of Vext?
Here’s what tasks you can expect from Vext.
Regular harvests: Daily/weekly harvests to promote healthy growth in your plants
Water refill: Every 2-4 weeks

Quick clean: Cleaning the water tank before you refill it again 2 times per year

Full clean: Cleaning all surfaces of Vext 2 times per year

Do I need the membership?
Nope! The Vext+ membership is completely optional, however it’s the key to an effortless experience.
Vext+ Members unlock:
- Access to our AI growing chat assistant
- Up to 40% discount on plant pods and nutrients
- Early access to new plant varieties
Where can I buy new plants and nutrients?
Vext needs plant pods and nutrients, both are included in the starter package. You can also buy more from our webshop after launch.
Other alternatives:
- Vext members receive 27 free plant pods and nutrients every 4 months, as well as other perks like discounts and advanced features, check out our membership options to learn more.
- If you prefer a DIY approach or want to experiment, you can also purchase empty plant pods and nutrients separately.
Return terms and warranty
Try Vext at home for up to 60 days, if you aren’t satisfied, return it and get your money back. Read more about returns here.
Vext comes with a 2-year warranty and replacement parts will be offered at a fair price in our webstore.

Do I need a membership?
No, the membership is completely optional!
If you prefer, you can buy your plant pods and nutrients straight from our website whenever you need them without having to commit to a membership.

Which membership is right for me?
Vext+ with pod discount
This membership is perfect if you want flexibility and don’t mind a bit of hands-on planning. You only pay for pods when you need them, which is great if you like to grow at your own pace, skip seasons, or even make your own pods. The upfront cost is lower, and you still get full access to the Kare AI assistant for support with growing, cabinet use, or even food-related tips.
Just keep in mind that you’ll need to manually reorder pods when you’re running low, and over the course of the year, this option may end up costing about 10% more than the bundled alternative.
Vext+ with included pods
This version is designed for ease and value. You’ll receive a curated pod delivery three times a year—just choose what you want, and we handle the rest. It’s the lowest-effort way to keep your garden growing year-round, and the included pods and nutrients come with our biggest discount.
It does come with a larger upfront payment and a bit less flexibility in timing, but if you prefer convenience and a more hands-off experience, this is the better choice.
How often do I get new plant pods?
With the « Vext+ with Pods & Nutrients » option, you’ll receive 27 plant pods and a nutrient refill set delivered to you every four months.
If you ever need extra pods or nutrients in between deliveries, you can purchase them at a 30% discount—anytime.
When does my membership start?
Your membership starts when you activate it for the first time. From that point, all Vext+ members get access to the features. If you’ve chosen the “Vext+ with Included Pods” option, you’ll also be able to select the pods for your first delivery.
